What should I wear?

Our wedding will be held in Salt Lake City (the desert) in July (the summer). It is likely to be hot and dry, with an average high of 91 degrees, but the evenings could be cool, and those of you like Erica may wear a sweater.

At the BBQ...

The BBQ will be held in the mountains. There will be a small chance of rain, but overall, dress for a hike or outdoor lounging in summer weather - loose-fitting hiking clothing, and if anyone wears a jacket or a tie, we're sending them home. Bring sunscreen!

At the ceremony...

It is likely to be quite warm when our wedding begins, and we encourage our guests to dress for elegant comfort. For men, jackets are welcome, but we don't expect you to keep wearing them if it's hot! We assume women will fare better than the men will.

[What should I wear] At the brunch...

We expect the median dress at the brunch will be business casual. Comfortable business casual, but Dave probably won't wear his sneakers.

What gift would you like for the wedding?

Time with you! The best gift we'd like to receive is your presence at our wedding and being able to spend time with you in the days before and after. If you feel that it would be impermissible to attend without a gift, a donation in our name to one of the charities listed here would be welcome.
